Hello everyone!I submitted my website to Google Search Console about a week ago and noticed that some of the pages, like the main page, are indexed.
My website is: https://pulpojobs.com
However, when I search for “pulpojobs,” my website doesn’t show up in the search results at all, even though there’s minimal competition for that keyword. Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Another issue I’m experiencing is with the logo displayed in the search results when I use “site:”. The logo hasn’t updated. Initially, I launched the site using the GoDaddy AI builder, which got indexed with that logo. Later, I rebuilt my website in Bubble and updated the icon. However, the old logo still appears in the results. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks in advance for your help!
There could be several reasons why your website isn’t appearing in search results despite being indexed:
1. Search Engine Crawling and Indexing: Even though your website is indexed, Google may not have crawled and fully indexed all of your pages yet. It can take some time for Google to process new website changes.
2. Website Visibility: While “pulpojobs” may have minimal competition, there might be other factors affecting your website’s visibility. For example, your website might be penalized due to technical issues, lack of high-quality content, or poor user experience.
3. Logo Update: Google’s search results often cache information, including logos, for a period. The updated logo might not be reflected immediately. Clearing your cache or using an incognito window might help.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- Check for Technical Issues: Analyze your website for common technical issues using Google Search Console’s “Crawl Errors” report. These can include broken links, slow loading times, or improper use of meta tags.
- Improve Content Quality: Ensure your content is relevant, well-written, and informative. Consider optimizing your content for specific keywords related to “pulpojobs.”
- Promote Your Website: Engage in activities to increase your website’s visibility, such as social media marketing, guest blogging, or creating backlinks from reputable websites.
- Contact Google: If you suspect a technical issue or penalty, you can contact Google Search Console support for assistance.
- Patience: Allow Google some time to re-index your website and display the updated logo. It might take a few days or even weeks for changes to reflect in the search results.
