Struggling with Link Building Outreach

Hello everyone,

I’m facing challenges with link-building outreach in my specialized industry. I’ve had some success with responsive places and my strategy seems to be on track. However, I believe the industries we’re targeting are hindering our progress. I work as an analyst for a drug and alcohol treatment center with multiple campuses and have already reached out to various entities like local therapists, colleges, hospitals, newspapers, and prison reformation programs. Due to competition or regulations, these avenues haven’t proven fruitful for link building. I’m seeking suggestions for 2-4 alternative places to explore. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I continue to navigate this struggle.

Consider exploring these alternative avenues for link building:

  • Local businesses that sell alcohol: Partner with local businesses that sell alcohol and offer a “find help” or “drink responsibly” resource listing on their website. This strategy allows you to tap into a relevant audience while promoting responsible behavior.
  • Build your own private blog portfolio: Create your own blog and use it as a platform for building links. This approach can be more time-consuming initially but offers greater control and potential for long-term success.
  • Explore alternative link building methods: There are several effective methods beyond traditional outreach, such as guest blogging, broken link building, and resource page submissions. Research these methods to find ones that align with your industry and goals.
