Hey Everyone,On-page and semantic SEO alone might not be enough to achieve top rankings for all websites. While they form the foundation of a good SEO strategy, other factors like technical SEO and off-page SEO, especially backlinking, significantly impact search engine ranking. So, I have been doing SEO and writing for 3-4 years and most of my work revolves around keyword research, semantic, writing and content planing. Yes I have done technical and backlinks too but I dont like doing them. I think they are just boring. So, the question is
- Should I offer only these services from now on?
- Are they profitable enough ? (I mostly had local clients so now diving into international ones)
What would you suggest?
However, focusing on on-page and semantic SEO, combined with other content-related strategies, can still be highly valuable and profitable. Offering services like:
- Internal linking optimization
- Competitor analysis and keyword research
- Image optimization and alt-text optimization
- Local SEO optimization
- Content cannibalization audits
Can deliver tangible results for clients, even without focusing on technical SEO or link building.
If you’re not passionate about link building, it’s advisable to be transparent with potential clients about your service offerings and focus on areas where you excel. Instead of promising something you don’t enjoy, concentrate on delivering exceptional value through your existing skillset.
By demonstrating the impact of your on-page and semantic SEO expertise through quantifiable results, you can build trust and attract clients who value your unique strengths.
