I want to be serious in SEO again but I hate Wordpress. I used Framer in the last 4 years. Why does everyone still recommend Wordpress in SEO? Why not use other website apps?

"I have been working as a website developer for over a decade, with experience in Adobe Dreamweaver but little focus on Wordpress. As I return to the SEO world, I see Wordpress is still widely used for website building with tools like RankMath and plugins. However, I view Wordpress as outdated technology and have avoided it in my career. I'm curious if Wordpress is essential for SEO and if there are alternatives like Framer that can be just as effective. I'm not criticizing Wordpress, just wondering why it is so dominant in SEO. I appreciate any insights you can provide. Thank you."

Wordpress is widely used in SEO due to its user-friendly implementation of SEO techniques, independent nature allowing for self-hosting, and vast plugin ecosystem. Many users are accustomed to using Wordpress, making it a familiar and easy-to-manage platform. The platform’s flexibility, supported by themes and plugins, allows for extensive customization tailored to SEO needs. The Wordpress community offers vast resources for users to learn and troubleshoot SEO practices. The platform’s regular updates ensure compliance with the latest SEO standards. While other website building platforms exist, Wordpress provides a robust and comprehensive toolkit for SEO optimization.
