Hello everyone,I have been creating online content for about 6 years now, but my consistency has been sporadic. There have been times where I gained traction, only for it to disappear later on. I have previously sold courses and built up my YouTube channel to 4K subscribers, but then I took a break.
Now, I am fully committed to dedicating the next year and a half to this endeavor. I have realized the importance of enhancing my organic traffic skills and understanding SEO. I have launched a blog/website where I will be posting content related to my YouTube videos. I currently have a mailing list of 800 subscribers, but they are not engaged as they subscribed 3 years ago when I was active.
I would like to learn the basics of generating organic traffic to my website. I have found a lot of SEO information to be overly complex and filled with confusing terms. It’s overwhelming. If you have any recommendations or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Start with the basics of SEO by understanding keywords. Keywords are the terms people use to search for information online. By incorporating relevant keywords into your website content, you can make it easier for people to find your content. You can use free keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner to find popular keywords related to your niche.
Once you have a list of keywords, you can start optimizing your website for them. This involves using keywords in your website content, page titles, and meta descriptions. You should also make sure your website is mobile-friendly and loads quickly.
Finally, don’t forget about building backlinks to your website. Backlinks are links from other websites to your website. They are a valuable signal to search engines that your website is trustworthy and authoritative. You can build backlinks by guest blogging on other websites, submitting your website to directories, and reaching out to other websites in your niche.
