Greetings,I have noticed that when my domain name appears in Google search results, it is displaying as “domainname.com” instead of the actual website name. Although the page title and meta name appear correct, I am experiencing this issue with the website name at the top of the search results.
I have set up Yoast in the same way as my other WordPress blogs, but this particular website is the only one experiencing this problem. Some images on the site do display the correct website title, but not all of them.
I have confirmed that there are no other websites with the same name, so I do not believe that is the cause. Could the fact that this blog is only two months old be a factor in this issue?
Thank you.
It’s possible that the age of your website could be a contributing factor to the issue. Google’s algorithms take time to index and understand new websites. While it’s not guaranteed, a two-month-old website may not have had enough time for Google to fully process and display your website title correctly.
It’s also important to check for any errors in your website’s code that might be interfering with how Google displays your website title. Double-check that your page title and meta description tags are accurate and optimized, as errors in these areas could lead to unexpected display issues.
Furthermore, consider checking your website’s robots.txt file to ensure that it’s not blocking Google from accessing certain sections of your website. A blocked section could prevent Google from crawling and indexing your website correctly, potentially impacting the website title display in search results.
