- Monitor traffic from backlinks that cannot be tracked in Ahrefs.
- Discover backlinks that may not be found in Ahrefs, such as from non-public websites like Jira Workspaces.
- Measure the performance of your parasite SEO campaigns.
- Identify leading backlinks by traffic using the performance map.
- Recognize missed opportunities when traffic decreases from previously popular backlinks.
How to use the template:
- The GA4 Page Refferer dimension includes both external and internal traffic by default. I have created a custom field to help filter out these two types of traffic.
- GA4 includes all types of backlinks (social and search) in the report, but you can easily filter them.
- Adjust the screen scale to 90% to prevent horizontal scrolling. The report may not fit on the screen at 100% zoom.
This template is valuable because it allows you to monitor traffic from backlinks that cannot be tracked in Ahrefs, discover backlinks that may not be found in Ahrefs, measure the performance of your parasite SEO campaigns, identify leading backlinks by traffic using the performance map, and recognize missed opportunities when traffic decreases from previously popular backlinks.
